Metric Target

Zero is a valid target. Fill exactly one subject category and a version. Membership, team and department subjects are real links; Subject (Organization) is currently text. A target must have a recurrence or task attached to clear Intake Check. To change the goal, create a new version, link Supersedes and set End Date on the prior target. The intake checks a previous End Date exists, but does not prove that periods never overlap.

Field names below are the current product labels. * and ° are UI markers, not database constraints. A preferred single-record selection is not a global cardinality constraint either. The related guide explains operational rules.

Example and maintenance

Illustrative example: Target v1 expects 4 reports for one membership in 2026-Q4. A changed goal becomes v2 linked through Supersedes.
