Membership in Systems Central

Local use of Membership (mirror): maintainers, reporters, accountables, deciders and assignees.

Shared definition and source fields.

Systems Central names people as memberships, one person inside one organization, never as bare people. A membership is the System’s Maintainer, a Feedback Reporter or Accountable, an Architecture Decision’s Decided By and a Work Item’s Assignee. The mirror is read-only. Correct a name, status or organization in Core.

The other 19 columns come from Core. Several of them arrive as plain text rather than links, for example Teams, Heads (Team) and Business Relationships (Contact).

The missing name

The mirror carries Member as synced text but no longer carries Member (Name). Three lookups in this base were built on Member (Name) and are now invalid:

  • System → Maintainer (Name)
  • Feedback → Reporter (Name)
  • Feedback → Accountable (Name)

They show no value. Until the sync to Systems Central publishes Member (Name) again, read the person from the link chip, the membership label, or Core. A Work Item tracks the restore. Do not add a local name column to the mirror to work around it.

Maintenance

Correct shared facts in Core. A table name or field description alone does not verify sync direction, field mapping or refresh interval; confirm them in the sync settings in Airtable.
