Organization in CRM

Local use of Companies in the CRM.

Shared definition and source fields.

Companies serves two roles: Counterparty is the customer or partner, linked from Company° on Deal and Interaction (inverses Deals (Counterparty) and Interactions (Counterparty)); Accountable is the group company selling. Keep those links distinct. Search by website/domain before creating an organization. CRM Record ID is RECORD_ID(), a local locator, despite a description that also mentions a UUID. It is not portable identity. Mirror write-back and automatic deduplication remain unverified.

Companies intake: identify the company and its website.

Maintenance

Correct shared facts at their owning source and local links in CRM. A table name or field description alone does not verify sync direction, field mapping, refresh interval or API write support. Campaign has a separately verified contract; do not generalize it to the other mirrors.
