Source table: States in Core Record Types (schema:AdministrativeArea). A State is a state, province or region: the first-level division of a country, whatever that country calls it. The catalog holds the 50 US states, D.C., five US territories and the 27 Brazilian federative units.

Rules and relationships

Enter Name and Abbreviation (the part after the country in the ISO 3166-2 code), link one Country and link Additional Type to a Place Kind term in Classification Term, such as State, District or Territory. Cities lists the cities in the state. Address 2 is the live link to addresses; Address, Companies - OLD and Compliance Global are legacy text columns whose descriptions still promise links. The primary field is ID, an auto number.

Lifecycle and checks

Active marks a state available for current operations. Record health is the share of four fields that are filled; Health check names the missing ones. V3 · Reference status and V3 · Next action give the next fix; V3 · City count counts linked cities. The two step views (Step 2: Entities · V1 and Step 3: Changelog Information · V1) have no filters and no Step 1.

Source fields

Names, types, options and links are those configured in Core Record Types. The meaning is the first line of each field description in Airtable. Options describe configuration; they do not prove a rule is enforced elsewhere.
