Source table: Branch in Core Record Types (bds:BusinessUnit). A Branch is a branch, office or site of an organization: a unit of the legal entity with its own address, never a second organization.

Rules and relationships

Enter Name as the company uses it, link the Parent Organization (the legal entity) and link the site’s Address. The parent is a multiple-record link, but a branch belongs to one organization. A site that has its own legal registration is an Organization, related through Business Relationship, not a Branch.

Lifecycle and checks

Lifecycle Status is Draft, Active, On Hold, Archived or Superseded. The table has no formula check and only the default Grid view.

Source fields

Names, types, options and links are those configured in Core Record Types. The meaning is the first line of each field description in Airtable. Options describe configuration; they do not prove a rule is enforced elsewhere.

Example (fictitious)

Example Roofing LLC opens an “Austin office”: one Branch row links the company as Parent Organization and the Austin Address, with Lifecycle Status Active.
