# Resource

An object or scope inside a tool that access can be granted to: workspace, channel, base, folder or app.

A Resource is what a grant applies to. The table had no rows on 2026-10-28.

## Rules and relationships

Create one resource per External Identifier. Link the Workspace that contains it; leave it blank when the resource is the workspace itself or is tool-wide. Ask for a new Kind choice instead of forcing a wrong one. Grants is an inverse link.
