# Position (mirror)

Local Position usage in KPIs & OKRs; shared definition in Core.

## Use and boundaries

Held By links memberships. Reports To and Direct Reports link other positions. Business Unit fields link organization, department or the current team table. Held By - OLD is historical text. Position membership does not itself select a Slack recipient in the current digest.


## Locally used fields

Held By, Reports To (Position), Business Unit (Organization), Business Unit (Department), Business Unit (Team).

These are consumer labels and may differ from the source. Local operational links and derived values:

## Where to correct

Correct shared data in Core Record Types[Positions]. Adjust links to tasks, targets and other operational records here. Check the column mapping, refresh interval and write-back behavior in the sync settings before relying on them. Do not assume editing a mirror updates Core.
