# Tool Workspace in Communication

Local use of the Tool Workspace mirror: the tenant a channel exists in.

A Tool Channel links the workspace it exists in, such as one Slack workspace. Neither current channel links a workspace. The Daily Digest chooses the Slack workspace per recipient through Tooling and Access, not through this link.

## Maintenance

Correct shared facts in Tooling and Access and local links in Communication. The table description declares a read-only, one-way copy. Check the sync source view, field mapping and refresh interval in the Airtable sync settings before relying on them.
